This is a new part that came from a former Honda dealership that closed it's doors.  Nobody, including dealerships gives warranty on electrical items such as this one because people could damage it and send it back damaged saying it doesn't work without disclosing that they have done the damage.

In most cases CDI box such as this one rarely becomes defective unless somebody did something wrong to damage it.  Possible cause for your problem could perhaps be bad wiring, something is wrong with the stater that is not producing enough voltage, ignition coils going weak, so we suggest you thoroughly check the electrical components associated to the ignition system before you replace this expensive part.

In brief we do not give warranty on electrical components such as this one.  Also if you were to purchase it, we would want you to select the shipping fee that comes with tracking and insurance.  The part is too expensive to go without this service.
