On the XS500C, both front and rear wheels are equipped with a disc brake and the aluminum rims are without spokes.  The XS500C features aluminum wheels (spokeless) and disc brakes for both front and rear wheels.  For additional riding safety, the flasher lights are provided with a self cancelling system.  These features and specifications pertaining to the XS500C model are covered within this Supplementary Service Manual.  For complete information on service procedures it is necessary to use this Supplement together with the Service Manual for model XS500B
